Amazon tells you what it paid you. Not what you made.

Open ecommerceprofitpulse.com/start on your Windows computer. It has the download button, where to paste your licence key, and both Amazon reports with the dates worked out. Your key is in the email sent when you paid — search your inbox for “Your Profit Pulse licence key”, and check spam if it is not there. Paid on your phone? Open that same address, or the key email, on your laptop. Please don’t buy again: if you cannot find the email, write to support@ecommerceprofitpulse.com from the address you paid with.

No — that screen is expected, and you should read it rather than panic. Click More info, then Run anyway. It appears because the installer isn't signed with a paid code-signing certificate, which costs more per year than this app currently earns. It is not a virus warning and it says nothing about what's inside the file. If you want to check the download for yourself, the SHA-256 is printed above the download button.

Two, both from Seller Central. The Orders report is a tab-delimited .txt: Menu → Orders → Order reports → the "All Orders" tab, report type Order Date, exact dates for the month. The Transaction report is a .csv: Menu → Finance → Manage payments → the "Reports Repository" tab, account type All (Unified Reports), report type Transaction, custom date range. The Get started page opens both in Seller Central and works out the dates to type, and the export guide has screenshots of every screen.

Because it wasn't the report it asked for — and refusing is deliberate. The alternative is reading an unfamiliar file as zero rows and handing you a confident profit figure built on nothing. Nine times out of ten the two files are simply swapped: the orders file is the .txt, the transaction file is the .csv. Check that, and check you downloaded the finished report rather than the request confirmation.

No. It opens, reads your reports and works out your profit with the internet switched off — your licence is checked on your own machine. Your reports are never uploaded; there's no account and nowhere to send them. The app does reach out three times, and none carries any part of a report: on startup it asks whether a newer version exists, sending a version number and nothing else, so a correction to a fee or tax calculation can reach you rather than leaving a wrong number on your computer; when online, it checks your licence is being used on the number of computers your plan allows; and if you ask to add another seller account it sends your licence key, to price that and take the payment. If you're offline all three fail quietly and everything else works normally.

Yes, whenever you like, and you do not have to ask us. Cost prices live in your own copy of the app, so you edit them the moment you find the right invoice. Better still, the change is not stuck to one month: profit is worked out from whatever the cost price is now, so correcting a SKU updates every month you have ever run, the instant you save. Nothing to re-upload, nothing to re-calculate, no support ticket.

As many times as you need. This matters more than it sounds: Amazon carries on settling a month for weeks after it ends, and returns land later still, so the picture on the 1st is not the picture on the 20th. Re-export the reports whenever more of the month has settled and run it again — the new figures simply replace the old ones. The app will also tell you when the payments file you gave it does not cover the whole month, at either end, rather than quietly showing you a number built on part of it.

₹499 for the first year, for the first 50 customers, and ₹999 a year after that — about ₹83 a month, a rate you keep for as long as you hold the licence, while everyone who comes later pays ₹1,499 a year. It is charged once a year, not monthly; the monthly figure is only there to compare against. Every update is included while your licence runs. There is no per-order fee, no cut of your sales, and no auto-renewing mandate on your card: each year you decide, unprompted, whether to buy another. If the numbers do not match your books, you have seven days for a full refund, no questions asked.

No. There is nowhere for it to go — the app parses both files on your own machine and keeps your cost prices and past reports in a local database on your computer. It never sends any part of a report, or anything about a buyer. The only things it does send are a version number, to check for a newer build, and your licence key if you ask to add another seller account. Run it on a laptop that has never seen wifi and everything but those works identically.

Yes. Each seller account is kept completely separate — its own cost prices, its own saved months — and the app shows you whose books are on screen so there is no mistaking one client for another. An account is identified by its GSTIN, which is checked as you type, so the same client cannot be added twice. Your licence includes one; further accounts are ₹999 a year each, about ₹83 a month per client, and you add them from inside the app. An account added part-way through your year is charged only for the days left on it and then renews with everything else on the same date. Accountants and agencies are exactly who this is for — email us if you need a lot of them set up at once.

Amazon India today. Flipkart and Meesho are visible in the app but not built yet — their settlement reports are laid out completely differently, and we'd rather leave them unbuilt than guess at the columns and hand you a wrong profit figure. If you sell on either and can share a real export, that's what unblocks it.

The parser is built against real Amazon India exports rather than documentation, and it refuses a file that isn't the report it asked for instead of quietly reporting zero. That said, it's a tool, not an accountant — check its output against your own books before you file anything against it.

This is the single most common mistake, and the app catches it. Amazon pays out around 15 days after delivery and returns settle later still, so a payments file that stops when your order month ends is missing most of that month's money. Profit Pulse checks the coverage and warns you before you read a wrong number.

Not yet — Windows only for now. If enough sellers ask, a Mac build is straightforward from the same codebase.
