Terms and conditions

Last updated 31 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Ecommerce Profit Pulse desktop application, this website, and any licence key we issue you. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, ask us before you buy rather than after.

1. Who you are dealing with

"We", "us" and "Ecommerce Profit Pulse" mean the sole proprietorship registered in India that trades under that name. "You" means the person or business using the software. Our contact details are on the contact page.

By downloading, installing or using the software, or by buying a licence key, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install the software.

2. What we sell

A licence to use the Ecommerce Profit Pulse application: a Windows program that reads marketplace report files you have already downloaded, on your own computer, and calculates net profit after marketplace fees, GST, TCS, TDS, advertising and cost of goods.

It is software delivered electronically. There is no physical product, no subscription to a hosted service, and no access to your marketplace account of any kind. Prices are on the pricing page.

3. Your licence

When you buy, we issue you a licence key valid for one year from the date of purchase. Subject to these terms, you may:

You may not:

The software is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property in it stays with us.

4. The free beta

While the software is in beta it is free, and that copy keeps working. Beta software is offered as-is: we may change or remove features, and it is more likely than finished software to contain defects. Nothing in this section obliges you to pay for anything you downloaded during the beta.

5. Payment

Payments are collected by Razorpay, our payment gateway. We do not receive, process or store your card number, UPI PIN, netbanking credentials or bank account details at any point. Razorpay's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.

All prices are in Indian Rupees. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout. A licence is charged once for the year — there is no auto-renewing mandate, so nothing will be taken from your account again without you choosing to buy again.

6. Delivery

Licence keys are delivered by email, normally within minutes of a successful payment. Full details, including what to do if a key does not arrive, are on the delivery policy page.

7. Refunds and cancellation

Set out in full on the refund and cancellation page, which forms part of these terms.

8. The figures the software produces

Profit Pulse is a calculation tool, not an accountant, auditor or tax adviser. It reads the report files you give it and applies the fee and tax rules as we understand them. It cannot know whether the files are complete, whether the cost prices you entered are right, or whether your particular tax position differs from the general case.

Check its output against your own books before you rely on it for a GST return, an income-tax filing, a loan application, or any decision about your business. We do not accept liability for a filing made on the strength of a figure this software produced.

Marketplaces change their fee structures and report formats without notice. We fix the calculations when they do, which is what the yearly licence pays for, but we cannot promise the software is correct for a report format we have not yet seen.

9. Warranty

The software is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software is free of defects or that it will run without interruption on every Windows configuration.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the software is limited to the amount you actually paid us for your licence in the twelve months before the claim. If you are using the free beta, that amount is zero.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost sales, lost data, penalties, or the cost of professional advice, however caused. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.

11. Your data

Your report files, customer details and cost prices are read and stored on your own computer and are never uploaded to us. What little we do hold — essentially your email address and your purchase record — is set out in the privacy policy.

12. Suspension

We may cancel a licence without refund if it is shared publicly, used to forge further keys, or obtained through a fraudulent or charged-back payment. We will email you first unless the payment itself was fraudulent.

13. Not affiliated with any marketplace

Ecommerce Profit Pulse is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, Flipkart or Meesho. Those names are used only to describe which report files the software can read, and they remain the trademarks of their respective owners.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will email licence holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the software after that is acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
